What is the
Society of Decorative Painters ??
The Society of Decorative painters is an international organization with chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Argentina. The society is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of decorative painting. It's membership includes decorative artists, teachers, retailers, publishers, distributors, and manufacturers. The SDP publishes and distributes it's magazine The Decorative Painter six times a year to all it's members. A national convention is held annually. The SDP has more than 30,000 members and 243 affiliated chapters.
